We had a special guest today at Sunshine Day School! Kinsley's Grammy came to school to help us with our pumpkin party. She read one of favorite October books to us, The Little Old Lady who Was not Afraid of Anything! Then we acted the story out.
As she read the story,each child got to help make the sound of their prop. The shoe went "clomp, clomp", the pants went "wiggle, wiggle" and so on.
Next we stuffed and made our own scarecrow using all of the parts, just like in the story.
We had a wonderful time reading this great book, and bringing it to life.
Thank you Grammy for a great day at preschool!
