I have been to The Dollar Store, and that can mean only one thing: there are new fun things to do at preschool! Today I placed these dish strainer mats out for morning work. I also provided the children with a basket of ribbons, in varying textures, widths, and colors. The invitation was for weaving, and that is just what they did. I was very impressed with how they did this activity. It was a fun, sensory, fine motor workout...
The "ribbon" fairy has also made a big trip to SDS. We will be doing lots of weaving in the future!
