It was a very thankful day at preschool with our 3s today. After much discussion about feeling thankful, we each took turns saying what we were thankful for. We wrote down each response and made that our prayer for today. It was a very sweet moment for our little ones, who were thankful for mommies and daddies, Doug, cheese, yogurt and turkey, new homes, our friends, our pets and our school. It was remarkable to see them come to understand what it means to be thankful. It is not an easy concept for them, but they definitely got it~
Coolidge's mom helped us have a wonderful Thanksgiving snack.
We ate turkey and cheese sandwiches, cupcakes, corn chips, and really cute cupcakes. Windsor brought everyone a Mayflower ship full of candy!
We made apple turkeys with raisins and marshmallows.
It was a special day at preschool, as we gave thanks with our preschool friends.
Happy Thanksgiving!
