A BIG thank you goes to the Wallace Fire Department for a great visit with our 4s today!
We met the firefighters and learned about their important job in our community.
We explored many of the tools that they use in their job.
We even got to use this tool: the fire hose!
I think we have future firemen and women here!
This firefighter put on his turn out gear to show us what he
would look like if he came into our homes during a fire. It is
important not to hide from the firefighters; they are our friends!
We each took a turn sitting in the firetruck.
They look ready to me!
We got to see a Pike pole, which is a tool we have been reading about this week at preschool.
We had a great day visiting with the WFD.
We look forward to another great visit on Thursday with our 3s!
